Thanks so much, Rosie. Glad you like the Weddell seals. There's such a dichotomy between seeing them sleeping like giant slugs on the sea ice, oblivious to the Antarctic wind, and hearing the otherworldly singing underwater.
There are seals that live locally to me in Cornwall. With the wind in the right direction you can hear them from the cliff tops when walking above the cove they like to sleep on. But their above water sound isn't nearly so otherworldly.
